I'm not sure who you are 'me' - but I had exactly the same thoughts before I joined Facebook (took me a while to join up) - it's addictive and I found lots of long lost people that I haven't seen for ages. It's also quite simple in it's design and layout. And obviously it makes me waste alot of time but now I'm hardly logging in or checking at work (which is ok).
