Yo peoples!

Well, I've finally decided to put a blog on blogspot.com. Decided to put blog stuff here, and other things at my Multiply space. I think that's enough online 'spaces / blogs / community things' for me. Or maybe I'm just looking for another way to procrastinate from uni exam preparation.

Not too sure what this blog is going to consist of but I thought it might be nice to put up so I can keep friends updated on what's happening whilst I'm China (For roughly 3 months from Dec - Feb).

Being an avid fan of hip-hop music I'll probably give some thoughts on albums or songs I've listened to. Maybe a bit of reflection on sport. Or some movies. Or some current affairs that are happening around the world. And hopefully some reflections on my beliefs (I'm a Christian).

For now, I'll try to put up a weekly track - titled 'Braggin Writes'

This week's song is 'Next Level (Nyte Time Mix)' by one of hip-hop's better duos, Showbiz & AG. It's from their 1992 album 'Runaway Slave'. You can listen to it here.

The beat is a classic by none other than DJ Premier (Of Gang Starr). It is one of my all time favourite hip-hop beats. Some may recognise the beat from the movie '8 Mile' starring Eminem.
